Trip to KY

 

This is Ani on the plane. She got a little sick while on the plane but she loved being able to see outside the window.

Kai was soo excited to get on the plane, that is all he talked about.

And of course Oso ad to go too.

   We were smiling b/c we weren’t that tired yet, although I don’t think Kai would agree.

We stayed at my sisters house for 1 week. It was kind of a long week b/c my sister works and so does her husband. I was able to clean up some and cook dinner for them on several days. I think they enjoyed it, I would have cause I a good cook. :) Well as you can see my sister has a huge tub the bubbles or should we say foam was so much fun.

This was was at my moms house. We stayed there 2 weeks. It was so much fun I didn’t want to leave. My parents own chickens and so the kids had so much fun playing with the chickens and holding the eggs for mom. Those eggs are soo good, believe me they taste different than store bought eggs.

    The night before we got there it had snowed alot. Maybe not as much as in Utah b/c still, the kids loved it. They would go outside for like two minutes and then come back in, they aren’t used to the cold now since we live in beautiful, sunny Florida. The one thing that made kai stay out so long was the car and motorcycle the neighbor kids were playing with. He had so much fun riding it. I that he was like “wow!a child size car, didn’t know those existed!”

After playing with the chickens they just had to play on the trampoline. They loved it.

600 years ago. . .

My mom gave me a booklet called Closer to Christ in 40 days. I started reading 5 chapters a day and yesterday I finally finished reading 2 Nephi. I never realized how hard it was to read 2 Nephi, but I did it! I was trying to see how long the Nephites waited till Christ came to the Americas, of course the Book of Mormon says 600 years. To most people the number 600 is not a whole lot. As I thought about it I asked Daniel that if we went back 600 years, what year we would be in. . . 1410. The year 1410 to the year 2010 is a long time. When I was finally able to put it into perspective, I realized that it was a very, very long time. In some ways I see how some people would have lost their faith.I am glad that I have the gospel now and I am very happy. :)

SORE LOSER

Ok, so I am a sore loser when it comes to playing chess with my husband. Why? b/c after almost 4 years of playing with him I lose every time. I mean, it starts out good then it goes bad and I get mad. I get so mad i want to cry. I also get mad at my husband b/c he then will say something stupid like "you want to switch sides?" He hates seeing me mad, you would think that after almost 4 years of me being a sore loser, he would just not as me to play.
